A Broken Paradise Series

“A new decree is declared every twenty-six thousand years.”

This will be the beginning and the end of the long supremacy of the four Tezcatlipoca’s – known as the four sons. As it is preordained for a new generation to take their ascendancy. What happened was not to be expected. A struggle for power - of rightful leadership and control that ruined the once peaceful colonies of the SSCC.

“Blood was not thicker than water.”

Tezca - The true leader of the Secret Sanctum of Created Civilisations was cast out by his three brothers, forced into exile, and it tipped the balance of this once formidable sovereignty. Quetz assumed leadership of his other brothers and the whole of the SSCC and reigned in terror with no one to challenge him. A prophecy of his reckoning spread far and wide - a betrayal not only of his own doing but of his brother Tezca. Tezca might have left the SSCC willingly, but he did not go without a parting gift. A new genesis would be birthed from a world known as EliLi. A creation of equal immensity. Inception baptised as ‘B’akab’ never before successfully shaped… until now.

Quetz rained fire on the world EliLi ending life before they could give birth to these beings that would end his reign. We watched in horror as the world burned, our only hope of salvation had been destroyed, or had it?

The planet once known as EliLi was destroyed but not its essence – life began to regrow. The new planet reborn as Earth – the creation of our leader Tezca and one day the home of the successful creation of B’akab beings was alive. Quietly we spoke of the prophecy once foretold, spreading hope among the other civilisations that B’akab were coming to end Quetz and his reign.

Meanwhile, on the planet, Earth Quetz had buried himself deep, corrupting their minds, taunting them with fears to keep them in line. Nonetheless watched and waited for these B’akab beings to emerge, but still, they had not come. Bavola – the home of Tezca is where we conspired a plan to send a missionary to Earth, to spread hope among the people, to sway them in favour of their true leader Tezca. However, the idea failed, and they murdered our messenger. Quetz had won in support of these poor misinformed souls. Angered - Quetz sought to murder us for our deceit but instead punished us with a new leader of Bavola – his daughter Casius - cruel and twisted she reigned to please her father - she murdered as easily as he.

We were trapped, losing hope until one day the Oracle spoke a name – Awen Morgan. Our saviour was born, all four B’akab established, and she would lead them here. The SSCC were on high alert; it was time for a new proposal. Get rid of Casius, protect the B’akab beings until they were ready to rule, train them, and prepare them for their destiny.
